MR ROAMING | MEGHALAYA TRIP
When i plan for meghalaya tour always i add dawki in my bucket list. from Shillong to dawki distance 82km aprox and duration 2hour 30 min around. I came here 2 time, 1st time i travel as one day trip from shillong by hire a local taxi (fare 2500-3200/-) and this time i came mawlynnong first and stay there at night and next morning travel 1 hour and reach dawki. main 2 point are tourist attraction here one is india bangladesh dawki border and second is dawki river boat ride. it's really a beautiful view that i mostly enjoy . at dawki border i meet with indian bsf and bangladesh bsf and it was good interacted with them, also meet with bangladesh tourist who travel there as me. i think it should be a easy Visa process for those who cross this border because i notice here security was lightly but yes all BSF are did there duty proper.
what ever i take here enough photo video with both side BSF and with bangladesh tourist. it was one of the comfort international border tour than my other border tour. So many bangladeshi tourist come India by cross this border basically those who come for meghalaya tour.
After Border i stop for dawki river boat ride. Distance between border and river just few minute. I think it should be one of the best moment of your meghalaya trip.
